Hip Hop Competition Teams

Our Competition Teams compete at 3-4 regional competitions a year and one nationals. They take master class from teachers all over the world and are required to take a certain amount of classes a week. JD Fraiser

Jd Frazier is a hip hop dancer from Sacramento, California and is the Hip Hop Director here at Studio 65 Dance Company. He has been dancing for 25 years and teaching for 13 years. He is 1 of the 3 creators of Jedi Assassins, a part of Trybe, a Press P.L.A.Y. Alumni dancer, former Artistic director of Funky Fresh, and trained groups and dancers such as The Art of Teknique (TAT, Kris,Gavin & Kida), and Sarah Lil mini phoenix. He has trained with and learned from numerous dancers and crews, such as Jabbawockeez, Lando Wilkins and Boxcuttuhz, Members of Fallen Kings and UGF. JD loves to teach and share this wonderful gift he has been given from GOD and feels that as long as he can inspire 1 person every time he dances, he has done his job and he is satisfied!

Jynece Avery

Jynece Avery joined the Teaching Staff at Studio 65 in 2016. She grew up as a competitive dancer in the Sacramento area and trained in various styles such as Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet and specializes in all variations of Hip-Hop. Jynece has been teaching and choreographing competitive and recreational dancers for the past eight years and has received various choreography awards at local dance competitions. Her past Experience includes 3-years as Head Coach Roseville High School Dance team, and choregraphing and teaching at Dance Studios in the Sacramento Area. In 2018, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Sacramento State University. Jynece strives to uplift and empower her students through her passion and love for dance.
