Laura Barks has been dancing since the age of four and teaching for over twenty years. She has coached numerous competition teams and earned several top awards throughout the years. Outside of studio life, Laura has choreographed musicals for Whitney and Rocklin high schools, performed with the Warrior Girls at Oracle Arena, and was a featured dancer in RCT’s ‘Young Frankenstein’. Laura also danced and choreographed for Tap Explosion in San Jose, a performing rhythm-tap company where she trained with such pros as the legendary Gregory Hines and Gracey Tune. Other professional credits include dancing for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors and a role in San Jose Civic Light Opera’s ‘No No Nanette’. She is thrilled to be back and a part of the Studio 65 staff.
